3. Can YYC customize racks?

Customized racks are available based on drawings. Meanwhile, MOQ is also required.

4. What are racks quality grade levels?

YYC Racks are as in accordance with DIN 3962 as international standards.

DIN 5 Rack total pitch error per meter is ≦0.026 mm.

DIN 6 Rack total pitch error per meter is ≦0.036 mm.

DIN 7 Rack total pitch error per meter is ≦0.048 mm.

DIN 8 Rack total pitch error per meter is ≦0.060 mm.

DIN 10 Rack total pitch error per meter is ≦0.150 mm.

5. What’s the longest rack YYC can make?

For standards, lengths will be 1000 or 2000 mm long. All racks are joinable, so racks can be connected as long as possible. Other lengths could be customized.

6. Do YYC Racks have different dimensions like CP, DP for different countries?

YYC racks majorly are modules, but we can make CP, DP for Japan, America, and other countries.

7. Should we choose straight racks or helical racks?

Straight racks is more economic but helical racks are more smooth, accurate, and less noise.

8. How could we make sure racks and pinions match together well?

Basically, straight racks match straight pinions. Helical Right hand angle (19°31’42”) racks match left hand angle pinions. Both have to be the same module.

9. Does YYC offer assembling tooth gauge?

YYC offers assembling tooth gauge at buyer’s cost. YYC also provides instruction of rack assembling steps on catalogue.

10. Should we choose racks with hardeness?

Without hardness, rack is soft. Hardness is around HRC 10°~12°.

After hardening, HRC is 50°~55°. Racks will have better long life to against worn-out. One only concern is that there are black traces on sides, so extra surface treatment like sandblasted, phosphated, surface ground either is recommended.

11. Could we use other materials?

YYC offers different materials for racks and pinions such as S45C, SCM440, SCM415, SUS 303, plastic, copper, aluminum etc.

12. How long is YYC delivery?

YYC racks are made to order. It depends on quality level and Q’ty. Basically, from 2 to 8 weeks.

13. How to pay?

T/T remittance, L/C, PayPal.

14. What are the terms of trade?

EXW, FOB, CIF etc.

15. Do you provide samples?

Samples are available at Buyer’s cost.
